FAQ’S

  • We are typically still accepting orders unless noted that I am fully booked for all orders. Although I may be fully booked, I may still be accepting rush orders for an additional fee. Please feel free to reach out to us to see if we are accepting rush orders.

  • All toppers with custom portraits/hand painted elements are covered with a thin sealer. However, this does not mean that they will be protected against water. Please be mindful of the weather if your commencement will be held outdoors. The toppers I create are not designed to be worn during inclement weather. Glossy printed toppers are more likely to get less damaged in inclement weather however, is not guaranteed.

  • No, I do NOT work for free. A deposit is necessary to start any order. Designs take time to prepare and make. We will inform you if we do not feel comfortable with creating a design. NO DEPOSIT = NO ORDER/SKETCH!

  • NO! Grad caps will NOT be replicated to avoid copyright infringement. A different version can be designed using the information provided under your cap idea. Please make sure your idea is original when submitting an order to avoid having your order turned down.

  • No. The cap is NOT physically needed and I will not accept anyone’s cap to design directly on it. I create toppers that attach right onto your grad cap. Directions on how to attach your topper will be provided along with your tracking information.

  • No. Each and every cap is personally customized therefore all sales are final. We are not responsible for damaged/stolen packages or shipping delays. If you do not pay the remaining amount due please be aware that your deposit is non-refundable. However, please contact us with any questions or concerns.

  • Rush orders are accepted however, are chosen upon availability. If your order is accepted, you will receive an approval via email. A $50+ rush fee and additional rush shipping fee will be added to your order depending on the date needed by. Grad caps that are needed in less than 2 weeks will be turned down. Please submit your orders in advance (preferably 6-8+ weeks).

  • Yes, I can create tiny caps for tiny humans! These orders are not as frequent and topper sizes differ so I may need to request the dimensions of the cap if available.

  • To place an order click here to fill out the form. We will reach out to you via email if your order has been accepted. Please keep in mind that orders are accepted based on originality, my artistic style and capability. I have the right to turn down any order submitted. If your order was approved, you will receive an e-mail within 24-72 hours. Please be ready to submit your deposit upon approval to secure your spot.

  • Customizations are categorized in tiers located in the graduation cap order form. Prices range from $80-$145+ depending on design complexity. Click here to see pricing.

  • All communication will be done via e-mail. Please check your e-mails daily for any possible messages. It is easier to keep everything documented in one area to avoid any mistakes.

  • If you are uncertain on how to customize your grad cap, please read the section under “Grad Cap Idea“ in the inquiry form to provide us background/general details. This allows us to brainstorm and create designs to fit you and your style. Having an overall idea/concept of a design is extremely helpful during the design process. We do not “freestyle” graduation caps.

  • Change of grad cap idea is subject to an additional fee of $25+ which depends on the stage of designing process. The change of grad cap idea may possibly be turned down or be subject to double the total price you were quoted. Grad cap orders take time to design and prepare. If you change your mind, please be prepared to provide a new detailed idea. There will not be any fees if your order has not yet been started unless additional elements are requested.

  • After you submit your grad cap form, we will e-mail you within the next 24-72 hours. We will let you know if we can accept your order or not. If your order is accepted, we will ask you to submit your 50% deposit by a specific date. Failure to submit this deposit will result in disregarding your order.

  • Deposits are required for ALL custom orders, no exceptions! This fee confirms and secures your custom grad cap order. It is used for start up materials and other production costs. This deposit is deducted from the final price of your order. If your deposit is not paid on time, your order will be turned down or may result in an additional rush fee. NO DEPOSIT = NO ORDER!

  • 1). Submit your grad cap form

    2). Submit your 50% non-refundable deposit after your order is accepted

    3). You will receive your 1st sketch for review based on your design idea within the timeframe provided

    4). You will receive a 2nd sketch for review after any changes (if needed) have been made. Additional revision rounds will result in an additional fee

    5). The grad cap making process beings. You will be updated prior to gluing everything down

    6). You will approve/make minimal changes at this stage to the grad cap

    7). Your grad cap will be completed and you will be updated with a final product photo

    8). You submit the remaining amount due by the date provided

    9). Your order is shipped to the address provided and are given a tracking link along with an instructional “How to attach your topper” video

    10). YOU GRADUATE! :)

  • Orders are NOT made by a first come first serve basis. Orders are fulfilled by priority/due date. Orders will be finished and received by or on the due date provided on your form. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for any shipping delays. Please plan accordingly!

  • Your final payment will be due upon completion of your graduation cap and prior to shipping. If the final payment is not received you will not receive your custom grad cap nor your non-refundable deposit.

  • Please place your orders a soon as possible. A 6 week notice is required at the very least. Placing your orders in a timely matter allows you to reserve your spot in case they get filled quickly. It is highly suggested to place your orders 8-10+ weeks in advance.

  • It is NOT recommended to remove the attached topper from your CUSTOM graduation cap to avoid damaging your design. Depending on the type of fabric your graduation cap is made of, it may be easy or more difficult to remove the topper. The topper has heavy duty double sided adhesive that may become difficult to remove after it’s been attached. PRINTED toppers are easier to remove from your graduation cap. If your school does not permit you to decorate your cap and will need to remove it, please let us know in your grad cap form so that we can use a different adhesive.

  • Orders can take time to prepare, please be patient with the designing process. You will be updated regarding your cap when necessary. Constantly sending messages regarding your order does NOT mean it will be completed quicker. Harassment will result in cancellation of your order and will not be refunded your deposit or able to place any order in the future. Please keep in mind this is a one woman show where multiple orders are being made and fulfilled.

  • Yes! All grad cap orders are designed to allow you to freely use your tassel during commencement. Directions on how to attach your topper will be provided along with your tracking information. If you have a preference on having your tassle button hidden or visible, please note it in your “grad cap idea.”

  • The toppers created are sized at 9.4” x 9.4”. This size will fit the standard graduation cap. A lot of graduation caps differ in mortar size (the diamond shape of the cap) so the design may either fit perfectly, have a slight border or stick out slightly. If you need to request a specific size, please let us know in your grad cap form!
